Ascension Presbyterian Church is committed to being a family integrated church but our deepest commitments are to the authority of God’s Word and the glorious work and power of the gospel of our Lord. We as a body are creedal, affirming the ancient doctrines of the church, evangelical, committed to the inerrancy of the Word and justification by faith alone, and confessional, affirming the Westminster Standards as our own. We are paedo-baptist and also welcome the baptized children of believers to celebrate the Lord’s Supper with us, which we celebrate weekly. We are a diverse body with large and smaller families, singles, retired, college students and more. We are then both profoundly ordinary, holding to the faith once delivered, and odd. We pray our oddness is found less in our distinctives in practice, more in our joy in the Lord.
