A Woman's Value in the Home

The world has a different plan for womanhood and would tell her that she is nothing, that what she's doing is not valuable, that she has skills and she is needed somewhere else. And often if a woman has a certain education, they say, oh, it's a waste of education. You need to do this. Or when a woman has a baby and she's been working, she'll be told that, oh, you need to come back to work. We need you.

You're so needed here. But let me tell you, dear sister, that you're needed most in the home. Your husband needs you, he needs you, and your children need you. And God has given you these precious, precious souls to teach and to train for His glory, that they would fear the Lord their God, to know Him, to trust Him, and to be usable for His kingdom. You

Tom Ford explains in this video that often, a wife and mother choosing to stay home to raise her family is looked down upon by the world. If a woman has a certain education, they believe that she is wasting that education to train her children. And yet, we see in Scripture that her priority should be to teach and train her children and to be her husband's helpmeet.

Proverbs 31:10 (NKJV) - "Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies."
