Why is the Christian called holy? We're not essentially separate. We're not. But we are morally separated because we have been separated unto God in the work of our rescue. Salvation is when God takes us out of that common element of Adam's family and places us spiritually, vitally, you know, indissolvably in a union with his son.

I am in Christ. He is the sphere. His reality is the environment in which I live and I have been spiritually placed in Him so that when I say I am His and He is mine, it goes beyond any really any words that humanity has. But being in Christ means I'm separated from certain things, certain old behaviors, as well as being separated to a person.
