God is infinite. What does that mean? It means that He is not bound by anything. We're bound by a lot of things. We're bound by time.
We're bound by geography. We're bound by ability. God's not bound by any of these things. I typically think of God's boundlessness or His infiniteness in terms of the three omnis that describe God. He's omnipresent.

He knows all things. There's no limit to his knowledge. There's nothing that he doesn't know. There's nothing that can be known that he doesn't know. He's always known everything and he always will everything.
And then he's omnipotent. He's almighty or all-powerful. There's nothing that he wants to do, but he can't do it because he doesn't have the ability. He always has the ability. And in the words of the Bible, his arm is never too short.
