Well, children, I'd like to talk to you about the amni presence of God. That's a big word. But you know what it means when someone is present with you. It means they're in the room with you. If someone is amni, amni means everywhere, That person is everywhere present.

That means everywhere. So there's nowhere where God is not. I had a lady in my church, a mommy, and she was driving the car one day with her daughter in the back seat. Her daughter was sucking on a sucker. She was thinking some pretty deep thoughts.

She was maybe four years old or five. She said, Mommy, where is God? And her mommy said, God is everywhere. God is omnipresent. And the child thought for a minute and Mommy kept driving and the child suddenly said, is God in the car, Mommy?

And the mother said, yes. So the child thought for a while. Mommy kept driving. The child said, as she pulled the sucker out of her mouth, she held it up, she said, God, would you like a lick? You see, And we can smile, we can even laugh at that little story of boys and girls.

That was real for that child, that moment. God is there. And even as adults, even as big people, We need to have that awareness of God. He's always there. He's always there.

You

Joel Beeke explains "omnipresence" to children through a story of a young girl driving home with her mother.
