I think when it comes to governing the internet, we have a generation of young men and women that are absolutely, their lives are destroyed with pornography. And I think it's one of the reasons why the church is so weak in our day. It's because we're so guilty. And the righteous are bold as a lion, yet, you know, wicked flees when no man pursues him. And I think because of that guilt, there's no boldness within the church.

And so I think with the internet, If this is a stumbling block to you, you have to pluck out your right eye. You have to cut off the hand that offends. You have to just, if it means no smartphone, if that means no access to a computer, that's what you do. But you can't play games. Even so much of the software, I get myself in trouble, you know, where you're tracking or you're in accountability with other people.

If you're not dealing with a heart on these things, you'll never get to the root of it. I think, you know, and oftentimes I get on my kids on social media but I can be a news hound. I can be you know tracking down the latest conservative or political you know what's going on in the world and or you know always checking emails or for text messages the same thing and I think I think all of the electronic stuff we have to bridle and this is a discipline that all of us need, certainly working on it in my own life.

What are some things to keep in mind in regards to your family accessing the internet?

Gary Powers explains in this video that lives can be destroyed by pornography. Churches are sometimes weakened in their efforts to speak out against the dangers of it because they are so guilty.

If this is a stumbling block to you, you need to pluck out right eye and take drastic measures. You can't take this lightly. If you don't deal with these issues of the heart, you will never experience victory.

Proverbs 4:23 (NKJV) - "Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life."
