This is of immense encouragement to my life. We know as Christians we are up against massive enemies, principalities and powers that would do everything they possibly could to disrupt the church, to destroy us. And I think I've had visions of the size of the enemy. We certainly are a diminutive, a tiny little group just trying to make it through an ocean of powerful forces that are against us, but if God is in the midst of us, we will not be moved. If God before us, who can be against us?

Indeed, God is over at all. Jesus is far above all principalities and powers, and it's a delight to me that yes, we are in the presence of enemies, but at the same time, he prepares a table before us in the presence of our enemies, and as a pastor, as a leader, I've seen that maybe a hundred times or a thousand times in the last number of years, and it has been a huge encouragement to my soul to know that God is above it and that God will make a way and that nothing can get in the way of God. He opens doors that no man can close. He closes doors no man can open and it doesn't matter if all of the the powers of darkness, if all of the civil powers of the United States federal government are against us, we cannot be moved. God will make a way for us and for his church.

I have seen him separate Red Seas and enable us to make it through what I consider to be impossible circumstances and that because he is omnipotent, he is sovereign over all things and that just sends the chills up and down my back when I think of those things.

We as Christians are up against massive enemies, principalities, and powers that will do everything they possibly can to disrupt the church. We are certainly a tiny group trying to make it through an ocean of powerful forces that are against us, but if God is in the midst of us, we cannot be moved. "If God is for us, who can be against us?" (Romans 8:31)

God is over it all! Jesus is far above all principalities and powers!

It is a delight to me that, even though we are in the presence of enemies, He still prepares a table before us. As a pastor and leader, I have seen this so many times in the last number of years and it has been a huge encouragement to my soul to know that God is above it all. Nothing can get in the way of God! He opens doors that no man can close and closes doors that no man can open.

It does not matter if all of the powers of darkness are against us. We cannot be moved. God will make a way for His church.
