Well, my message at the conference this year was concerning the dominion mandate and its relationship to the family. So we considered Genesis 1 in which God creates male and female in His image and commands them to be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and have dominion. And then we see that in Genesis 2 as Adam is to work the garden and it's not good for him to be alone so he needs a helper suitable to him so that they can care for the garden that God has planted and in which he has put them and then they are to spread the image of God over the whole wide earth, which becomes quite difficult because of their fall. In Genesis 3 we see that that curse addresses man in the work that he was given to do, it addresses woman in the work that she was given to do. And yet in Christ, He is the second Adam, he is the savior, and he is the one who exercises coming into the very ends of the earth.
And so by repenting of our sin and trusting in Christ and following him, we can fulfill that cultural mandate in our families.
