David Fry explains in this video what to do if children question their parents' faith or lifestyle. Fathers need to be humble enough to let their children know that if they feel that their father is teaching something that isn't biblical, they should ask questions. It is a good thing when we are continually evaluating what we hear and see. On the other hand, it is not good when children resent their parents and despise gatherings of the church. Acts 17:10-11 (NKJV) - "Then the brethren immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea. When they arrived, they went into the synagogue of the Jews. These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so."

David Fry explains in this video that Abraham gave us a positive example of biblical fatherhood. We have many situations of how involved he was with the Lord but also with his son and his nephew, Lot. Even though he wasn't perfect, he strived to walk according to what God commanded. Proverbs 20:7 (NKJV) - "The righteous man walks in his integrity; his children are blessed after him."

David Fry explains in this video that it can be easy for a mother to be discouraged. It can be helpful to remember the mercies of God and be glad for God's mercy in allowing them to be within a Christian home. If she has difficulty in dealing with her husband, she can pray for him and seek out older women as mentors. Romans 15:13 (NKJV) - "Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."

David Fry explains in this video that although Scripture explains that David was a man after God's own heart, David failed to be faithful to his wife. This would be a tremendous thorn to him. Scripture details how it negatively affected his family and other families. We as fathers and husbands must be vigilant to guard against sin in our own lives. A parent ought to understand who and what is influencing your child and bring your child back to a biblical understanding of gender.
