Winning the Heart of Your Child
Dec. 7, 2020
Rob Tart explains in this video that one of the most important things that a parent should work towards is to win the heart of their child. If they do not have the heart of their child, it is very difficult to maintain a harmonious relationship with a child and to pursue shared goals together. To win the heart of a child, parents need to listen, care for their children, and affirm them when applicable. Proverbs 17:22 (NKJV) - "A merry heart does good, like medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones."

How a Local Church Reaches Out to the Poor
Dec. 9, 2010
In today’s world of affluence and education there are still those around us who are poor.  Jesus said that the poor you will always have.  How should a church attempt to minister to these people?  Should the church be a social agency and if not what can the church do? Jesus spoke often of ministering to the poor.  Yet when attempting to reach out to such people, one finds that there are many complicating problems; family issues, addictions, depression, and many others. We will discuss what a church can do to help needy families in your local communities?

Teaching Isaac the Habit of Worship
Aug. 19, 2020
Rob Tart explains in this video that Abraham lived in a time when there was no church, but he still brought his family to the Lord. We can see this from what Isaac said to Abraham when they were on the way to offer Isaac as a sacrifice. Isaac knew that they were offer a sacrifice. He had done this before with his father. Proverbs 22:6 (NKJV) - "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."

We Communed With God from the Beginning
Nov. 4, 2020
Rob Tart explains in this video that before the Fall, Adam and Eve walked with God. They communed with Him regularly. Even when their sons were grown, after the Fall, they were still in fellowship with God. If we want to raise godly children, we would be wise to do the same. John 5:30 (NKJV) - "I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me."

The Life of Abraham
Jan. 8, 2021
Rob Tart explains in this video that Abraham regularly communed with God and was a man of God, even though he had his sins and faults. He walked by faith and not by sight, even when God called him to do things that were incredibly difficult to do. Galatians 3:6-9 (NKJV) - "[J]ust as Abraham 'believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.' Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham. And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, 'In you all the nations shall be blessed.' So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham."

David as a Father
Oct. 1, 2020
Rob Tart explains in this video that even though he had many faults, David did many things well. He was a man after God's heart and he prepared his son, Solomon, to take over the throne after he died. That is something that fathers today can learn from the life of David. David showed humility and love for his son. 1 Samuel 16:13 (NKJV) - "Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel arose and went to Ramah."
