Exploring Peter’s Growth in Grace & Knowledge
May. 21, 2022
The Scriptures reveal much concerning the life of the apostle Peter. Peter’s life is an illustration of the extreme highs and lows of the Christian life. Peter was an eye witness to many of the miracles of Jesus. Peter heard Jesus’ sermons and parables. Peter voiced the great confession proclaiming Jesus to be the Christ, the Son of the living God, and soon after was sternly rebuked by Jesus for suggesting that He turn away from the suffering and death of the cross. Three times Peter denied he knew Christ, but later was graciously restored by the resurrected Savior. Peter was the preacher at Pentecost and the apostle to the Jews. Through all of this, what did Peter learn about God? What did he come to know about Christ? In studying Peter’s life, one thing becomes clear—Peter knew his God. May the Lord be pleased to teach us more concerning Himself as we study His dealings with Peter.

Men and Women Glorifying God
Mar. 15, 2023
How can men and women each glorify God? Kevin Moore explains in this video that God made male and female distinct and different. They are not the same. Accordingly, there are various and distinct roles, duties, and responsibiities that are discussed in Scripture.  For instance, men are to to pursue the responsibilities and roles that God has given to them in the home, family, and church. They should embrace those roles and not be ashamed of it. The same principles applies for women.  Genesis 1:27 (NKJV) - "So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them."

God Moves in Mysterious Ways
Feb. 23, 2023
What is one benefit that comes about from trials in our lives? Kevin Moore explains in this video that God moves in mysterious ways. Even though we may not understand it at the time, when faced with trials, will we grow angry with God or will we submit to His will? We know that He works all things for our good. In the tough times, we must remember and believe that the Lord is good. Oftentimes, though it may not be easy in the moment, when we look back, we can se that we grew the most during those difficult times.  James 1:2-4 (NKJV) - "My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing."
