How to Love an Angry Wife
Jan. 20, 2021
Paul White explains in this video that it is important to realize that our sins against Christ are serious. Regardless of the shortcomings he might see in his wife, a husband is still responsible to love her, care for her, and provide for her. There isn't a caveat for a husband's command to act towards his wife in these ways. Rather, he is to love her as Christ loved the Church. Lamentations 3:22-23 (NKJV) - "Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness."

Sexual Sin Is Not New
Jan. 19, 2021
Jason Dohm explains in this video that the idea of sexual sin is not something new. In fact, Scripture deals with sexual sin many times. As with any sin, the hope for individuals who are besieged by these kinds of sin is that Jesus can save those who believe in the Gospel and trust in Him. 1 John 1:9 (NKJV) - "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Questions about Gender
Jan. 12, 2021
Gary Powers explains in this video that there are a lot of children that can have questions about gender. We as parents have to take them back to Scripture and explain what God says about gender. Your biology defines who you are, not what you feel or what culture may say who you are. It is important to keep pointing them back to Scripture. 1 John 1:8-10 (NKJV) - "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us."

Answering Hard Questions
Jan. 6, 2021
Trent Moody explains in this video that if a child starts to question their gender and discusses it with you, you have an incredible opportunity to speak into the life of that child. Take them to Scripture and help them to see what God has said. His ways are perfect and He made them male and female. Help them to remember that the heart is desperately wicked -- what they feel doesn't dictate what truth is. Point them to the Word of God. Jeremiah 17:9 (NKJV) - "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?"

The Only Hope for Sexual Perversion
Nov. 19, 2020
Anthony Mathenia explains in this video that sexual sin is an issue and has been an issue from the beginning of time. There has never been a time when men or women have been not susceptible to it. Both women and men are guilty of the perversion of sex in perhaps trillions of ways. The only remedy is the Gospel. It is sufficient to overcome sexual sin, addiction, and deviance. 1 John 2:1-2 (NKJV) - "My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world."

Your Children Are Sinners
Oct. 27, 2020
Paul White explains in this video that one big mistake parents can make is failing to teach our children that they are born with sin. They are sinners. Parents must be diligent to continually set Christ before their children. Our children ought not to grow up in a home where they are idolized by their parents and can do not wrong in their eyes. Romans 3:21-23 (NKJV) - "But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

Where Did Eli Go Wrong With His Sons?
Oct. 23, 2020
Jason Dohm explains in this video that when we look at the life of Eli and his sons, we can learn much. When Eli hears that his sons are engaging in sin, he confronts his sons but yet fails to restrain his sons. Verbally contradicting our children is not the same thing as restraining them. We should take actions to suppress sin in our households. Often, words are not enough in the formative years. Proverbs 29:17 (NKJV) - "Correct your son, and he will give you rest; Yes, he will give delight to your soul."

Gender and the Bible
Oct. 19, 2020
Paul Carrington explains in this video that in today's world, man wants to wrestle away from God and the things of God because of sin. When it comes to gender, we ought to teach what the Bible teaches and celebrate the differences between genders. We shouldn't apologize for the different qualities of each gender. Parents also need to see if they are letting their children be influenced by ungodly media or friends. Genesis 1:27 (NKJV) - "So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them."

Confronting Sin
Oct. 14, 2020
Phil George explains in this video that if there is a brother or sister caught in transgressions, it is not something that we can ignore. And yet, the confronting shouldn't be done out of a self-righteous attitude. At the same time, we must be mindful of our own transgressions and shortcomings. Matthew 7:1-3 (NKJV) - "And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?"

Discouragement in the Family
Oct. 2, 2020
John Snyder explains in this video that when there is discouragement in the family, it's easy to pin the blame on yourself. In fact, many parents are paralyzed by grief and despair. They haven't dealt with the guilt they experience. If you are part of the problem, go to Christ. Repent for your sins. Turn from your sin. 2 Corinthians 7:10 (NKJV) - "For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death."

Abraham and Trusting God
Sep. 18, 2020
Anthony Mathenia explains in this video that Abraham did hear from God and obeyed God. However, there was a pattern of disobedience. We see him lacking trust in God, lying, and also acting in unbelief. Unfortunately, that negative pattern of sin was set and it affects subsequent generations. God doesn't need our help -- when we try to do something ourselves, it never ends well. When we sin, there will be consequences. Accordingly, we must mortify the deeds of the flesh and seek to honor and obey God. Proverbs 12:22 (NKJV) - "Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who deal truthfully are His delight."

Leadership in Times of Conflict
Sep. 8, 2020
Trent Moody explains in this video that there will be times when there are heated situations even within a church. When conflict is not dealt with in a loving and patient way, a church and the families within the church can be negatively impacted. Also, there can be issues when an elder oversteps his jurisdiction and attempts to interfere in the lives of families within the church. Hebrews 12:11 (NKJV) - "Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it."
