Frank Maxson encourages preachers to focus on proclaiming the Gospel and the unsearchable riches of Christ, drawing inspiration from the Apostle Paul and C. H. Spurgeon, and to avoid dwelling on the faults of their congregation or preaching out of insecurities.

In this short clip, Evelyn Maxson, a missionary in Malawi, says that although it was hard for her to leave all her friends to go to the mission field, it has helped her to have a closer relationship with her husband. For she has had to share a more of the things that she has been going through with him rather then with her friends. She says going to the mission field has also helped to make her less selfish because her problems become small when compared to those around her.
