How is the believer to glorify God and enjoy Him in their use of technology? Is that even possible? While technology has greatly changed since the days of the Apostle Paul, our chief end remains the same. Paul teaches us in I Corinthians 10:31 that, “whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” Therefore, technology, like all things under the sun, can be used for either good or evil. Moody encourages older women to focus primarily on teaching practical aspects of home life. The nurturing environment of a home, he argues, is the 'greenhouse' of the church, playing a critical role in shaping the future church community. By personally investing in the development of young mothers and children, older women can contribute significantly to the cause of Christ.  Titus 2:3-5 (NKJV): “The older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things—that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed.”

Trent Moody explains in this video that while they are in the home, your daughters can help their mother with younger siblings if they have them. Through this, they will learn service. He shares that in his family, his daughter enjoys writing, so she is working on writing a book. We need to help them build their trust in the Lord. Romans 12:10-11 (NKJV) - "Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord."

Trent Moody explains in this video that couples ought to learn to quickly forgive past sins and to not bring the past up. Whenever there is an issue, a spouse should not quickly bring up their spouse's past faults and mistakes. Rather, they should demonstrate love and compassion. Ephesians 4:32 (NKJV) - "And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you."

Trent Moody explains in this video what biblical and unbiblical patriarchy looks like. Unbiblical patriarchy is when a man is focused on what he wants to accomplish. He is a man who is a lord and king unto himself. His wishes and whims are his only desire. On the other hand, biblical patriarchy is defined by Scripture. Christ is our example. Such a man looks for the needs of his wife and his family. He gives up his own desires. Ephesians 5:25 (NKJV) - "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her."

In this video by Trent Moody, we are taken through Revelation 14:4, which speaks of those who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These individuals are described as the redeemed, the first fruits to God and to the Lamb. The defining characteristic of a disciple, as Trent Moody highlights, is the unwavering commitment to follow Christ, irrespective of the direction of the world around them. Moody points out that such disciples live counter-culturally, resisting the temptation to conform to the norms of the society they inhabit. Their adherence to Christ's lead is not a passive act but a conscious choice, grounded in obedience and in alignment with the teachings of the Scriptures as found in both the Old and New Testaments. This decision to follow Christ wherever he may lead is a testament to their faith and the transformative power of redemption. John 15:16 (NKJV): 'You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.'

Trent Moody explains in this video that young couples ought to strive after humility. If they are not, they should repent and seek the Lord for marriage is not about our personal comfort but our character and striving after holiness. It is a picture and a type of something greater. Simply put, if you see your marriage as an "end all, be all" you have a wrong understanding.

Trent Moody explains in this video that we see that God says that children are a blessing from the Lord even in the first book of the Bible -- Genesis. Scripture everywhere speaks positively of children. They are to be seen by us a blessing and not a curse or a hindrance. Psalm 127:3-5 (NKJV) - "Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one’s youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them; They shall not be ashamed, but shall speak with their enemies in the gate."

Trent Moody explains in this video that Scripture explains how Zacharias and Elizabeth served the Lord and trusted Him. After they faithfully prayed for a son, Zacharias saw a vision of an Angel who told him that his prayers were answered. Their son was John the Baptist. We see a moment of joy for this couple who was faithful to the Lord and were in constant prayer. Malachi 3:10 (NKJV) - "'Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this,' says the Lord of hosts, 'If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.'"

How does the concept of shepherding one's family differ from simply driving or leading them? He delves into the innate design, suggesting that men are created to lead and women are inherently designed to desire someone to lead them in life. Moody emphasizes the profound impact of parents, particularly when they align in vision and approach, contributing to the overall harmony and stability within the family. Trent Moody explains in this video that there is bound to be disagreement with others within a church. We need to understand that when we come into a church, we need to get rid of the "My way or the highway" concept. Christ calls us to serve, to humble ourselves, and to extend unconditional love towards others. Romans 12:16-18 (NKJV) - "Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion. Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men."

Trent Moody explains in this video that if a child starts to question their gender and discusses it with you, you have an incredible opportunity to speak into the life of that child. Take them to Scripture and help them to see what God has said. His ways are perfect and He made them male and female. Help them to remember that the heart is desperately wicked -- what they feel doesn't dictate what truth is. Point them to the Word of God. Jeremiah 17:9 (NKJV) - "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?"
